Receptive and Expressive Language – impairments where the child has problems expressing needs, ideas, information, or understanding information

Voice – impairments where the child’s voice has an abnormal quality to its pitch, resonance or loudness

Fluency – impairments where the child’s flow of speech is disrupted by repetitions, blocks or prolongations

Social Language/Pragmatics – difficulty getting along with other people
