Intramural Sports

Intramural (IM) Sports Athletic activities are open to students on the basis of interest, rather than ability.


ELIGIBILITY FOR EXTRACURRICULAR SPORTS PARTICIPATION

No student can try out or participate in any extra-curricular sport or activity without:

  • A current physical examination on file in the school nurse’s office.
  • Completing the Interscholastic Athletics Participation Requirements, Parent and Student and Proof of Health Insurance form.

These forms must be on file one week prior to any tryout date. No forms will be accepted on the day of the tryout.

  • All game times and locations are posted on the school calendar.
  • You can View the athletic conference member schools here.

BOYS IM BASKETBALL LEAGUE

(Open to all boys that were not on the school basketball team)

Boys will be placed on a team and play an eight game schedule. T-shirts will be issued to all players for a small fee. Meets once a week in February, March and April.

GIRLS IM BASKETBALL LEAGUE

(Open to all sixth grade girls and all older girls who do not make the official school basketball teams)

Sessions will feature organized teams and games. Meets one day per week starting in the 2nd quarter of the school year.

IM SOFTBALL

(Open to all students)

Organized softball games will be played. Meets one or two days per week, after school, following spring vacation. The activity will end in time for students to take the 4:15 bus home.

IM SOCCER

(Open to all students)

Organized soccer games will be played. Meets one or two days per week, after school, following spring vacation. The activity will end in time for students to take the 4:15 bus home.

IM ULITMATE FRISBEE

(Open to all students)

Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport that is a combination of soccer, football, and frisbee. The main focus of the sport is “Spirit of the Game” which encourages teamwork, having fun, and following the rules. This club will meet for four weeks in the fall.
