CCSD59 Staff Honored at Those Who Excel Banquet
According to the dictionary, the definition of the word excel is “to be exceptionally good at or proficient in an activity or subject.”
On Saturday, October 17, CCSD59 staff members were recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) at the 2015 – 2016 “Those Who Excel” Awards Banquet in Normal, IL. Staff were recognized for positively impacting the lives of students through their work at CCSD59.
The program annually recognizes and honors educators who have made outstanding contributions to public and nonpublic elementary and secondary education. There are seven different categories and three levels of awards that are issued for each year.
